Why wouldn’t we just use ChatGPT or Claude?+
You may already get good value from them. Both offer ways to share context and connect tools; Claude also supports centrally provisioned skills. Sonny is for businesses that want someone to turn their solar processes into configured, tested agent workflows and maintain them under an agreed scope. If your team already does that well, you may not need the same level of implementation support. Compare the approaches ↑
We already have our process in a Markdown file. What changes?+
That file is a useful starting point. We define the inputs, checks, exceptions and output, install the skill on the chosen agent, connect the approved sources and actions, then test it against real cases. Passing a file around becomes a maintained configuration. A written procedure still needs validation; uploading it alone does not make an agent production-ready.
Do we have to move everything out of Google Drive?+
We assess the folders and approved documents you already use. The product includes a Google Drive source option alongside a wiki and file uploads. We confirm syncing, access and the sources each agent can use during setup. Other source options shown as coming soon are not included as live connections by default.
What happens when our process changes?+
Update the maintained procedure, identify the agents using it, test the change and roll it out to the agreed scope. Your implementation defines who owns those updates and approvals. We do not assume that every conversation automatically becomes approved company knowledge.
Can Sonny actually call people and send emails?+
Yes—with the calling or email service, permissions and workflow configured. Agents can make calls, send follow-ups and write customer emails. You choose which actions run automatically and which need approval. This website is a simulation; it does not contact anyone.
What is Sonny, and who is it for?+
Sonny is your AI solar chief of staff, with agents configured to do specific jobs: call leads, send follow-ups, write emails, investigate support questions and review bills. We connect the knowledge and systems each job needs, then test the workflow with your team.
Will this work with our CRM and phone system?+
We check your stack before proposing the scope. We review your CRM, calendars, phone system and document stores, including the specific access available in your plan. Your proposal specifies the connections, permissions and actions included.
Am I hiring one AI or a whole team?+
Sonny is the coordinating role and the name of the system. Specialist agents carry out the jobs you choose. You can start with one job, then add more. Your scope defines the agents, integrations and actions included; your people retain responsibility for judgement, exceptions and approvals.
How does Sonny learn our business?+
We configure approved documents, answers and operating rules, then test representative situations with your team. Knowledge access is scoped. Changes are reviewed rather than assuming every conversation is automatically correct.
What happens when it doesn’t know the answer?+
We define when the agent asks another question, pauses or hands over to a person. Technical claims, savings figures and customer commitments need appropriate sources and approval rules. We test those boundaries before rollout.
Can it handle post-quote follow-up?+
That is a workflow we can scope around your quote stages, approved product knowledge and sales handoff. It is agreed and tested separately; a lead-booking workflow does not automatically include a complete post-quote decision assistant.
How will we know it’s working?+
Agree the baseline first. For sales, track eligible enquiries through to held qualified assessments and sales. For operations, compare handling time, response quality and review effort. Activity counts alone are not a business result.
What will it cost?+
Cost depends on workflows, integrations, usage and support. You receive a scoped setup price and a clear breakdown of ongoing and usage charges before deciding. The calculator is an illustration, not a quote or guarantee.
